She is a board-certified Adult Nurse Practitioner and a Certified Wound, Ostomy Nurse (CWON®), serves on the board of the Friends of Ostomates Worldwide and is also currently President of the Quad City Ostomy Association. According to WOCNCB President Diana Gallagher, “We are very fortunate to have Mary on our board. Her education (MS, Medical-Surgical Nursing) and training (Board Certified Ostomy Care and Wound Care) have prepared her well to serve in this key position.
