The Colorado Symphony Ball opens its doors at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 7 at the Sheraton Denver Plaza Ballroom, where guests won't be able to resist the many temptations of the evening, including a fabulous array of live and silent auction items. It all begins with Bubbles & Baubles: a glass of champagne that could end in diamonds - diamond earrings, that is. With Bubbles & Baubles, attendees can purchase a glass of champagne and a pair of cubic zirconia earrings donated by Rachel Lubow of Jewelius for $100. But, one of those pairs contains genuine diamonds., The lucky winner will be revealed as the champagne corks fly. All those who have the good fortune to attend this Motown-infused evening will enjoy a delectable gourmet dining and the charms of the auctions just before The Temptations hit the stage at 9 p.m. So don't be "too proud to beg" for these and many more tempting auction items - make your plans to attend and support the Colorado Symphony today!

Highlights of the live auction include:

   * The once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to guest conduct the Colorado Symphony at the New Year's Eve concert

   * A wonderful evening with a gourmet dinner prepared by Colorado Symphony President & CEO Jim Palermo

   * An exclusive evening of fine wine with resident conductor Scott O'Neil

   * An evening of beautiful music with concertmaster Yumi Hwang-Williams, including a traditional Korean dinner prepared by her mother Taesuk Cho for eight to 12 guests

   * A trip to the 2011 Grammy® Awards, including airfare for two, two box seat tickets, and a two-night stay in premium Los Angeles property, and tickets to the AEG after party

The silent auction features hundreds of irresistible items, including:
