Christopher Guy Furnishings Featured at the 21st at MONTANA Town Homes in Santa Monica

The showcase will feature an entire town home furnished with Christopher Guy’s collection of luxury furnishings created by leading interior designer and design expert Kahi Lee.

The 21st at MONTANA state-of-the-art green town homes capture Santa Monica’s coastal elegance and Christopher Guy’s designs were the perfect fit to balance the casual atmosphere and the architecture of the building. The light and airy interiors of the complex allowed an open canvas for Kahi to incorporate signature Christopher Guy furnishings and show off the “luxury casual beach” lifestyle that Santa Monica city is known for.
 
“I chose Christopher Guy furnishings because I wanted to create a luxurious and dramatic look that is both timeless and modern at the same time,” said Kahi. “I want to showcase the pieces in a setting that is contemporary and relaxed but also sophisticated and elegant for which the Christopher Guy brand is well-known for,” she added.

To bring the feel of coastal luxury to the model town home, Kahi mixed white and cream fabrics with signature dark wood finishes.  Accents of light blonde and white lacquer finishes were added with complementing mocha and celery colored fabrics for upholstery. A highlight piece includes the new “Monaco” camel-back seat (#60-0278), featuring the globally patented Chris-X (kris-kros) leg design and can be used as a dining or occasional chair. Kahi paired the chair with a new desk (#76-0159), supported with white-lacquered coral leaf leg design and an oval glass top. Showing off the famous Christopher Guy mirror collection, Kahi added a round contemporary style mirror with mosaic rays crafted by master carvers from solid hardwood (#50-2661).

The 21st at MONTANA open house will take place on May 3, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at 853 21st Street, Santa Monica, CA  90403 with special guests, designers Kahi Lee and Christopher Guy Harrison.
