It was founded in August 2009 by Valeri L. Reaves, also Head Designer. MyMeApparel became an official business in June 2010. The MyMeApparel fashion line was launched in September 2010 in a Fashion show and charity, in conjunction with Project Night Night, a non-profit organization located in California that provides Project Night Night totes to homeless children. MyMeApparel guaranteed its 2010-2011 Charitable Recipient, Nicholas House Homeless Shelter of Atlanta GA, 100 comfort totes (which include one Project Night Night tote, a stuffed animal, a children's book and a blankie) via the MyMeApparel Project 100 Totes campaign of 2010-2011. In the MyMeApparel fashion launch, fifty totes were presented to representative of Nicholas House Homeless Shelter. Fifty more totes are being compiled and will be presented to Nicholas House prior to September 2011. MyMeApparel Charitable Recipients of 2011-2012: The MyMeApparel Charitable Recipients of 2011-2012 are ten (10) GA State Licensed Family Child Care Providers. MyMeApparel Project Let Them Play...and Learn will provide each family childcare provider with one of the following play centers (up to a value of $150): * Outdoor - Large manipulatives * Indoor - Small manipulatives * Reading Library * Dramatic Play * Circle Time Each family child care provider will receive one of the above listed play centers as designated by MyMeApparel and the family child care center's needs. Actual family child care provider charitable recipients will be identified/selected by MyMeApparel Representatives and will be invited to attend the MyMeApparel 2nd Annual Fashion Show & Charity as honored guests to receive their awards and play centers.
