Originating in Uberlandia, Brazil, in 2004 Bruno Silva pioneered the first Chima in the United States, located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Since then, a total of four restaurants have been established in various locations along the eastern coast.

Following the legend of the Brazilian cowboys--gauchos--Chima has incorporated the core values of generosity and hospitality into their superior service. The gaucho philosophy also carries over into their social media message.

“Our main goal is to provide an exceptional experience for every single customer who enters our doors,” said Bruno Silva, Chima owner. “People come for the food, but they leave with an experience. Social media allows us to continue to contribute to that experience online.”

With only a couple months under its belt, Chima is building momentum and establishing its online presence. Chima Steakhouse-named after chimarrao, a traditional drink of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, that symbolizes hospitality and friendship-certainly lives up to its name. The first Chima restaurant originated in Uberlandia, Brazil located in the state of Minas Gerais.
