New Jersey Italian VH1 Star releases book

PRLog (Press Release) - Apr. 22, 2011 - Johnny “Meatballs” DeCarlo is part of an ensemble cast of the hit Vh1 reality series, “My Big Friggin’ Wedding.” The Meatball King of New Jersey is striving to become the ultimate celebrity chef with plans for his own Johnny Meatballs TV show and the eventual expansion of the entire Johnny Meatballs Empire. He hopes to have his “Meatballs in Sunday Gravy” dinner packs on every store shelf in America, so the entire nation can experience the old-school Italian-American Sunday experience he grew up with.

To Johnny, it’s not just about the meatballs themselves, but more of what they represent—which is the recreation of that special experience. Johnny is also an accomplished writer, and has been published in such magazines as Amici Journal – The National Italian-American Celebrity Magazine and Weddings Sites and Services Magazine.

He currently writes a weekly food and entertainment column on I-Italy.org called Cugine Corner – The Johnny Meatballs Blog. In 2010 he wrote and recorded “The Meatball Song,” with music superstar Lucas Prata, now available on I-Tunes. He is married to Megin Klunck-DeCarlo and has two boys, Matthew John and Christian Dean. The Meatball Family reside in Bergen County, New Jersey.
