The 2013 Ford Taurus SHO Unveiled

April 22, 2011 - PRLog -- The 2013 Ford Taurus SHO made its grand debut at the 2011 New York Auto Show with lots of fanfare. What makes the Taurus SHO stand out from the rest of the crowd is the fact that it’s a sleeper car. It may not have the classic muscle car looks of the Ford Mustang but it rocks plenty of power under the hood thanks to a 3.5 Liter Ecoboost engine with 365 hp and 350 lb feet of torque.

New improvements include a redesigned and elongated hood and a reshaped black grille for an aggressive and sporty demeanor. Additional revisions include improved handling, a rear view camera and MyFordTouch along with Ford’s Sync system. If you crave even more performance you can purchase a package which will amp up the performance aspect to a whole new level. Mileage stands at 31 mpg on the freeway.

MyFordTouch is in place which will work in conjunction with the Microsoft Sync system. MyFordtouch allows the driver to listen to music, obtain accurate directions and place and receive telephone calls by utilizing voice commands.  This allows the driver to keep both hands on the steering wheel at all times.

Step inside the cabin and you will be surrounded by an interior that is plush and comfortable. The seats are decked out in rich leather and the steering wheel is temperature controlled. Ford has not released pricing yet for the 2013 model.

The SHO would be a great fit for anyone who craves a lot of power and speed but prefers to drive around undercover in a “sleeper car”. With a new bold look and improved handling, the Taurus SHO is a winner in the luxury sports sedan segment.
