President of WebCertain Asia Keynotes Trade Conference in China

April 22, 2011 - PRLog -- Barry Lloyd, President of WebCertain Asia, delivered the keynote speech at the CXMEE conference in Xiamen, China on 9th April. CXMEE, China Xiamen Machinery & Electronics Exhibition, is a conference and exhibition promoting export trade and joint ventures with foreign companies, and Barry spoke about how to use the internet to market internationally and the pitfalls of international search marketing.

The event, which is authorized by China’s Ministry of commerce, attracted over 36,000 professional merchants from 35 countries. Barry’s keynote was preceded by an introduction from a Senior Government Party Representative, who thanked WebCertain for choosing Xiamen as the base for its Chinese operation.

International web agency WebCertain launched its Asia division in November 2010, with Barry as its President. Barry is an experienced international marketer, and his company Microchannel Technologies founded the MakeMeTop SEO/SEM services and software, which was sold to Unica in 2010. Now based full-time in the Far East, Barry leads WebCertain’s development in Asia, with a particular focus on China.

Following CXMEE, Barry travelled to Sydney, Australia to speak at Search Marketing Expo Sydney, where he again spoke on international search as part of the Global Marketing track. In Sydney he also joined search industry veterans Danny Sullivan and Greg Boser as part of the Site Clinic team.

Barry will be returning to Australia for SMX Melbourne later in the year.
