SAFE Haven for Cats offers potential adopters discounted adoption fees at our Open House.

RALEIGH, N.C. (April 21, 2011) – SAFE Haven for Cats is pleased to announce an Open House at its Adoption Center, located at the corner of Garvey Drive and Durant Road in Raleigh, on April 30 and May 1, 2011 in conjunction with The North Shore Animal League’s Pet Adoptathon 2011.  SAFE Haven for Cats is the Triangle’s authentic no-kill feline shelter, and the state’s only low-cost spay and neuter clinic just for cats.  

The Open House will be held from 10 am to 4 pm on Saturday, April 30 and from 11 am to 4 pm on Sunday, May 1, and includes tours of the Adoption Center, refreshments, and the opportunity for attendees to learn about SAFE Haven and its mission.  Adoption counselors will be on hand to take applications from potential adopters.    

The cats and kittens at SAFE Haven will be celebrating Cinco de Mayo that weekend.  Adoption fees will be drastically reduced - $55 for kittens, $25 for adults and $5 for mature cats.  All SAFE Haven residents have been spayed/neutered, are up to date on medical care and vaccinations, are well socialized and ready for their fur-ever homes.

SAFE Haven is the Triangle’s authentic no-kill feline shelter. The mission is to rescue 500 abandoned, neglected and abused cats every year and adopt them into enduring homes.
