Atlanta-Based Construction Resources Featured in Stone World

Construction Resources was born out of a marble manufacturing company started by a partner and the father of co-owners Mitch and Sonny Hires in 1970. In 1997, the Hires brothers bought the company and began its expansion with Atlanta Kitchen – a facility that specializes in countertops and solid-surface products such as quartz and granite.
Mitch and Sonny, both Atlanta natives and graduates of the University of Georgia are 50/50 co-owners in Construction Resources, with is the parent company of Atlanta Marble Manufacturing, Atlanta Kitchen, Atlanta Glass and Mirror and Atlanta Garage Doors and Fireplaces.

Construction Resources is capable of fabricating 3,000 feet of material per day, with the Atlanta fabrication facility    capable of fabricating 2,000 feet.
