No stranger to the Music Farm, Righchus has performed at the venue several times throughout his career, and as opened up for Bone Thugs-n- Harmony, Warren G, J.Cole—and now Wale.
Wale, who is also no stranger, performed at the Music Farm this past December. He was recently signed to Maybach Music Group (MMG), courtesy of Rick Ross. Wale is known for his Go-go infused single, “Pretty Girls,” featuring Gucci Mane and his collaborations with artists such as Lady Gaga and Waka Flocka Flame.
“I’m anxious,” said Righchus, who is scheduled to perform at 10:30 p.m. “It’s always good to be onstage.”
And when he isn’t onstage, he is in the studio working on his third album to be released this summer. His first LP “Chaos Theory” released in 2009 is available on ITunes, CD Baby and Amazon. His latest mixtape, “Sweetgrass & Supras” is available on datpiff.com and hotnewhiphop.com as a free download.
“I’m just ready to give my fans a good show,” Righchus added.
Doors will open at 8 p.m. Tickets are $15 in advance and $25 the day of the show. To purchase advance tickets, visit www.musicfarm.com or www.etix.com. The Music Farm is located downtown Charleston at 32 Ann Street near the Visitors Center. For more information about the tour, please call 843.822.5446 or 843.343.1449.

Wale (pronounced wah-lay), D.C. based rapper, is signed to Maybach Music Group. Since the release of his debut album “Attention Deficit” in 2009, he has released a number of mixtapes in preparation for his sophomore album. Wale has collaborated with a number of southern rappers like Rick Ross, Gucci Mane and Waka Flocka Flame; however, true to his D.C. roots, Wale incorporates the elements of Go-go in his music, a subgenre that blends funk and hip hop with percussion instruments.
