April 20, 2011 - PRLog -- The Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nursing Certification Board (WOCNCB®) proudly announces that its Certified Foot Care Certification (CFCN®) credential has been approved by the Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) for inclusion in their “Let’s Get Certified Campaign.” The WOCNCB awards the CFCN credential to qualified Registered Nurses who have passed the WOCNCB’s national certification exam.

“The WOCNCB was honored to be invited to participate in the Let’s Get Certified Campaign and to support the commitment these nurses to serve veterans, armed forces, their family members and survivors,” says Diana Gallagher, MS, RN, CWOCN, CFCN, CHT, and president of WOCNCB.  “We are even more honored that the CFCN credential has “joined the ranks” of our wound, ostomy and continence certifications on the Campaign’s recommended list.”  To recognize the efforts of the Let’s Get Certified Campaign, the WOCNCB offers a 30% exam fee discount.
