Aug. 11, 2011 - PRLog -- Boise, Idaho - This is an important public notice.  Post 63 has been at the old location for nearly 3 decades, and the old Post Home has been a fixture in the community.  This location change may be difficult for our members We need the public to know where the new location is in the event that our members, new and old, arrive at the former location looking for the new Post Home.

"I'm not saying that our members are feeble by any means," says spokesperson and member John Waddell. "We do have members that are getting up there, but this isn't about age, well sort of. We need the community to know that Post 63 is just moving to a new location and we are still here to meet the needs of our Veterans.  As new veterans return home to Boise, we want the community to send them our way."

The new location, 8931 West Ardene Street in Boise, near the corner of Overland and South Maple Grove, will provide a newer, more up to date building to allow the VFW to continue is work of veteran and community support.

The new building will be ready to conduct Post business on September 1st.  We will begin hosting our regular membership meetings, special events, Saturday morning breakfasts and serving a few libations to members.

If you are Veteran and you wish to join, now is the time.  Please contact the Post 208-424-8387 or visit our website vfwpost63.org to find out how easy it is to join.
