Men’s Skin Care – The Basics

What are the Basics of Men's Skin Care? If you just shrugged your shoulders then its time to read on

PRLog - Apr. 19, 2011 - Men’s Skin Care – The Basics

It has to be pointed out there is a difference between men’s and women’s skin and as a result the two sexes have different needs (That’s the extent to which are knowledge of women goes unfortunately).
One of the primary reasons for differences in facial care is that Men shave their face (Oh Really! I hear you cry). This can dehydrate and irritate the skin and as a result needs a different kind of moisturiser. An after shave balm is perfect to cool and soothe

It is known that Men’s skin is slightly courser  and is said to be 15% oilier than that of a woman’s and as a result it is a good idea to get rid of the grime and dead skin cells from a day of hard graft by using a facial scrub.
The range of products is wide and caters for sensitive and normal skin types.
If you have oily skin it is our recommendation that a soap free cleanser can gently clean out the surface of your skin.

Everyday we men will be exposed to harsh environments, whether it is to shop floors or air conditioned offices. These places can dry the skin out and can age the face.

A routine of using a facial scrub, a good quality facial wash and the use of a men specific moisturiser can keep you looking healthier and more appealing.

I haven’t Got Time for that!

So you think its going to take a lot of time out of your day to make a difference to how you look?

In reality you are adding very little time to your day. 30 seconds to 1 minute on using a facial scrub. You were going to wash your face anyway (Weren’t you?) and then a moisturiser, were your looking at half a minute maximum.

Make your start to a day include Face Scrub, Face Wash, and Moisturise.

Sounds Easy

It is. But, and there’s always a but, you might just want to keep yourself hydrated and eat a sensible diet. It is preferable for it to be with water and a balanced diet.
No one expects you to turn into a boring LA health conscious, wheat grass eating, Prius driving self righteous, baby stealing weirdo, and to be quite honest we wouldn’t know where to start to help you to do that anyway.
