RainMaker Software lends support to Manna on Main Street

April 19, 2011 - PRLog -- BLUE BELL, PA. – April 19, 2011 – On Friday, April 15th, RainMaker Software employees gathered to assemble baskets for disadvantaged children that would otherwise go without on Easter morning. The idea was spearheaded by the company’s CUDOS committee, a small group of dedicated employees whose mission is to develop programs that boost employee morale and promote team building.  “We are always looking for community projects and the idea of putting together Easter baskets for children came from an employee who had done it in the past,” said CUDOS Chairperson, Deb Burish. “I am thrilled with the number of employees that donated toys, treats and their time to this project. It will change Easter for the children that will receive a basket and it helps our employees feel good about giving back to the community.”  

Employees donated dozens of items for the baskets that were delivered to Manna on Main Street on Saturday, April 19th. Manna on Main Street, a non-profit organization located in Lansdale, PA, provides a food pantry, soup kitchen and emergency funding for those in need. Established in 1981, Manna on Main Street continues to serve the community every day and, with a full time staff of only three employees, they are always looking for volunteers.
