Real World's Nany Gonzalez on The Jimmy Star Show
The Real World: Las Vegas is the twenty-fifth season of MTV's hit reality television series The Real World, which focuses on a group of diverse strangers living together for several months in a different city each season, as cameras document their lives and interpersonal relationships. The season premiered on March 9, 2011 and is the second season of the program to be located in Las Vegas, the first being the twelfth season which aired in 2002. The cast is being housed in a custom suite built at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, and the cast's season assignment is to intern with a charity called the Athlete Recovery Fund.
Nany González joins the cast of eight as the strikingly beautiful, Hispanic-American, sweetheart who was a popular athlete and dancer for a semi -- pro hockey team throughout college. Nany's biography reveals that her father was jailed on drug charges before she was born; and although she hopes one day to find him, they've never even met. Recently, however, she found letters several years old hidden away in her mother's closet addressed to her, which has made her more determined than ever to find her biological father. With the help of her now-sober mother and supportive stepfather, Nany is looking to escape her small town life and build a better life for herself. She's currently pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice and wants eventually to become a parole officer. Although Nany has a boyfriend she's been seeing on and off for 6 years, the relationship is rocky. Arriving in Vegas she reports wanting to let loose and see what the city has to offer. The series has now aired six episodes of the season, with it's seventh episode set to air on Wednesday April 20, 2011.
