Katie Davies, ecard designer extraordinaire, could not resist filling her new Easter E card with a troop of dancing painted eggs and groovy bopping bunnies. Inspired by the choreography of Busby Berkeley and with a little nod to the Austin Powers films, it is sure to put a smile on the face of anyone who discovers one in their in-box this Easter weekend.
Katie and her team employ a wide variety of artistic and digital techniques to produce her fabulous animated E cards, from traditional paints and pencils to the very latest computer animation software. The service works on a low cost subscription basis, whereby paid up members can access and send all of the 160 e cards available. Covering a wide range of important occasions and events through the year, members can send all the ecards for a full twelve months and add their personal message at the end of each one.
Nick, co-founder of Katie’s Cards commented: “Technology has enabled us to create some really fun and exciting Ecards, but what is really important to us is that they are a much greener alternative to conventional printed cards. With virtually a zero carbon footprint, creating E cards for people to send is helping to do our bit to combat the effects global warming.”
