Del Toyota Offers TrueCar.com Top Fuel -Efficient Vehicles

TrueCar.com, an online vehicle pricing guide, reviewed models currently on the market that have four-person seating capacities or higher. To determine the list, TrueCar.com calculated each vehicle’s total fuel costs using average combined EPA MPGs, current fuel prices, and a usage rate of 15,000 miles annually. Pure-electric vehicles were excluded from the list due to the fact that there is no cost associated with filling up the tank.

Fuel efficiency is quickly becoming a top priority for car buyers, according to TrueCar.com. “Now more than ever, consumers are considering the fuel efficiency of a vehicle when making car-buying decisions," said Jesse Toprak, vice president of industry trends and insights at TrueCar.com.

The 2011 Toyota Yaris and Toyota Corolla are economical choices for Thorndale and West Chester Toyota shoppers in search of a fuel-efficient vehicle. With an EPA estimated MPG of 31.4, the Yaris generates $1,742 in fuel costs per 15,000 miles, based on an average price of $3.62 for regular unleaded fuel. The Toyota Corolla has an EPA estimated MPG of 29.1 and accrues an annual fuel cost of $1,883 for 15,000 miles of usage.

Del Toyota is currently offering low pricing and special incentives on the Toyota Yaris and Toyota Corolla with approved credit. Greater Philadelphia Toyota shoppers can lease the Corolla for just $189 per month through May 2, 2011.
