US release of the first "true likeness" commemorative William and Kate Royal wedding coin.

April 18, 2011 - PRLog -- Competition in the commemorative coin business has really hotted up this month as the Royal wedding draws closer.  A multitude of coins have been released to commemorate the wedding of Prince William of Wales and Miss Catherine Middleton but many have been criticised as the images depicting the couple, at best only have a passing likeness while others bare no resemblance to the popular Royals.

In a recent online survey, five of the most readily available coins were displayed on a national website where visitors were asked to choose the best likeness of the couple.  Although there were no substantial differences between the coins the image produced by the William and Kate wedding coin co. was thought to be the most true to life and complimentary of the happy couple.  The coin can be seen at
