Just Added to the Covina Center for the Performing Arts Schedule April 19 & 26With the tax season upon us, the Covina Center for the Performing Arts (CCPA) will offer some comic relief each Tuesday night in April with Citrus Comedy Live! This special run will take place 19th and 26th with performances starting at 8 PM.
By: Monica Gillen Headlining on Tuesday, April 19, Don McMillan will feature a technically funny evening for Covina. He will give a lighthearted look at computers, technology and high-tech life. McMillan has been seen in a variety of television commercials, best known as “Bud” the delivery guy for Budweiser Beer. He has also appeared in numerous feature films including AIR BUD III-WORLD PUP, LIFE WITHOUT DICK, PARTY CRASHERS, and FANATICS, and has guest starred in the TV series STAR TREK: VOYAGER, BABYLON 5, CITY GUYS and more. Opening for McMillan will be Orange County native, Francis Di Lorinzo, who combines, enthusiasm with sarcasm and intellect with silliness. Bringing down the house on Tuesday, April 26 will be Butch Bradley, one of the most popular stand-up comedians on today’s comedy circuit. Bradley is a veteran of the Laugh Factory, Improv and The Comedy Store and has opened for top comedians Ray Romano, Lewis Black and Cathy Ladman. He has also appeared on numerous television shows including THE MARTIN SHORT SHOW, VH1’s THE LIST, THE JAMIE KENNEDY EXPERIMENT and more. He also headed to Afghanistan and Iraq, supporting our troops on the USO Tour. Opening for Bradley will be David Gee, a talented comedian who is also a comic writer and voice-over artist.
