Singlewire Announces New Inbound Email Plugin for use with InformaCast

Singlewire InformaCast is a full-featured, network-based mass notification, emergency communication, and overhead paging system that allows users to simultaneously send an audio and/or text message to a variety of endpoints including IP speakers, Cisco IP phones, overhead paging systems, computer desktops, digital signage, SMS text, social media sites, and more. When configured with the inbound email plugin, an InformaCast broadcast can further expand the number of people that can be reached.

The InformaCast inbound email plugin monitors email being sent from people or devices within an organization. When an alert is triggered and action is required, the email sent can trigger an InformaCast  broadcast to a pre-determined recipient group within the organization. The plugin can also be configured to monitor for specific text within an email, relay the text of the email in the InformaCast broadcast, and trigger specified audio and/or text message to be sent.
