April 15, 2011 - PRLog -- Kurt Sivilich is experiencing growing success with his first novel, Guardian Angel. Published in early spring 2011, his book is gaining recognition among readers as it climbs the bestsellers ranking on Amazon.com.

Guardian Angel is the story of Michael, a businessman and father who suffers a fatal heart attack but reaps the unpleasant reward of living a lukewarm life – he’s denied entrance into heaven and forced to forfeit his old life and become an unwilling guardian angel. Forthcoming in the series are Soul Stealer and Precious Possessions. In total, Sivilich plans at least eight books in the Guardian Angel series.

Sivilich’s first book is hailed in recent reviews as having “descriptive prose, [an] excellent storyline, and wonderful character development” while tackling subject matter from life-and-death, heaven-and-hell, and love-and-hate, “a soul-searching look at the human condition.”

A native of Pennsylvania, Sivilich is the son of Richard and Carolyn Sivilich of Orangeville, and is a 1987 graduate of Berwick Area High School. He is a project manager for A2SO4, an architecture and built environment firm in downtown, Indianapolis, Ind. He worked on the new Indianapolis Airport and Lucas Oil Stadium, two of the city’s three recent megaprojects. Sivilich was graduated from Kansas State University’s architecture program in 1998. He is married to Anjanette and together they have two children.

Guardian Angel received the Editor’s Choice award from iUniverse Publishing, and is available online from iUniverse.com, Amazon.com, and BN.com (Barnes and Noble) in hardcover, paperback and e-book formats. His book is also available at various locations locally in Indianapolis.
