Hudson Ford and Local Community to Raise as much as $6,000 for Hopkins County Central High School

April 14, 2011 - PRLog -- Madisonville, KY – Hudson Ford is bringing Ford Motor Company’s innovative Drive One 4 UR School program to the Madisonville community in an effort to raise up to $6,000 for Hopkins County Central High School. For every person who test-drives a Ford vehicle at Hopkins County Central High School on April 16, Hudson Ford and Ford Motor Company will donate $20 to the Hopkins County Central High School Athletic Department.

“We know how important extracurricular activities are to our high school students, and as part of this community, we want to help,” said David Hudson, Dealer Principal at Hudson Ford. “This is why we’re excited to raise money for the Central Storm athletic programs, meanwhile introducing parents, teenagers and other drivers to our high-quality lineup and innovative safety technologies.” The event, which will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., will feature the Ford Explorer, Focus, Fiesta, Edge, F-150, Mustang and Taurus.

Since the start of Ford’s Drive One 4 UR School program in 2007, more than 275,000 test-drives at more than 1,500 events have generated over $5 million in donations for high schools nationwide. Locally, Hudson Ford participated in Ford’s Drive One 4 UR School program in 2010 and raised over $4,000 for Madisonville North Hopkins High School.

Participants must be 18 or older and have a valid driver’s license. There is a limit of one test-drive per household.
