Volunteers are the heart and soul of the Laurel House, contributing over 20,000 hours per year. This year the event will honor a number of those dedicated volunteers, including Lowe's Store Employee Volunteers (Hatfield, Montgomeryville, Plymouth Meeting, and Willow Grove), and PECO Plymouth Service Building's "Warm Hearts Group". Also being honored that evening will be Joyce Blunt of Plymouth Meeting, a long-time volunteer, as well as a group of volunteers from Nehemiah's Way, a transitional housing program of Laurel House, located in the North Wales community. The Nehemiah's Way volunteers are Robin Alderfer of East Norriton, PA, Linda Boorse of Perkionmenville, PA, and Bob and Norrell Weisenborn of Souderton, PA.
The chair for this year's Gala is Jackie Allen and the auction chair is Pat Younce. They are assisted by a committee of board members and community volunteers. Sponsorship and auctions donations are still being accepted. Contact Dorothy Hammett at dhammett@laurel-
