April 14, 2011 - PRLog -- Well it only seems 2 minutes since the last series of Britain's got Talent, but this Saturday it all starts all over again...

Before I give you my thoughts on the new series, let's remind ourselves of the past winners.

Winners 2007 to date:

2007: Paul Potts

2008: George Sampson

2009: Diversity

2010: Spelbound.

The show has also created a host of other stars:

Since her runner up slot in 2009, Susan Boyle has sold over 2,340,000 million albums in the UK alone and had 2 Number 1′s in the UK and US. Other big sellers include 2007 talent winner Paul Potts, Andrew Johnston, Connie Talbot, Escala and Faryl Smith.

It will be interesting to see what the two new judges consisting of David Hasslehoff and Michael McIntyre bring to the table, they will join BGT regular Amanda Holden on the panel.

Simon Cowell is not part of the audition stage but will return for the live shows in late May/early June.

This year I am hoping to see someone other than a dancer or singer win, don't get me wrong I love those acts but we need something different. So I am looking for a good comedian or magic act to win this year...remember where you heard it first.

From next week I will give you my personal views on which acts I think will get to the live Semi Finals, the Final and potentially win the whole thing.

Until then, stay safe and have a great week.

Britain's Got Talent returns on ITV this weekend at 8.20pm.

Dean 'Midas' Maynard

Reality TV & Sporting Events Prediction Expert

http://www.deanmidasmaynard.com

Dean 'Midas' Maynard is the country's top Reality TV & Sports Prediction Expert, who uses his psychic ability to forecast and support a range of participants in celebrity and sporting careers. Nicknamed 'Midas' by the press due to his many successful predictions, Dean has received widespread acclaim in the UK and USA, in the media and online.

Dean uses his unusual ability to both provide predictions and support by drawing luck towards a chosen recipient. Though his methods may seem extraordinary, his rate of success speaks for itself.

Due to his ongoing successes and tipping challenges, Dean is regularly in demand for television, radio, press and online media. He is the psychic horseracing tipping expert for eclipsemagazine.co.uk, writes for Chat It's Fate and Spirit & Destiny magazines, and has been hailed as "The country's top sports psychic" by FourFourTwo magazine for his football forecasts. He is also the resident prediction expert for Viking FM and BBC Three Counties radio stations.

Dean recently (Sept 2010) teamed up with Sky Sports News Radio to provide horse racing tips throughout the jump season.
Midas Quotes

When it comes to celebrities, Dean mostly focuses on Reality TV shows, usually tipping contestants in the early stages of the competitions and notably forecasting winners on X-Factor (Leona Lewis), Big Brother (Rachel Rice & Sophie Reade), Dancing On Ice (Suzanne Shaw & Hayley Tamaddon), I'd Do Anything (Jodie Prenger), Eurovision (Norway) and I'm A Celebrity (Gino D'Acampo). Dean has worked alongside major celebrities including Westlife, Ant & Dec, Chris Moyles and Dermot O'Leary.

Amongst his sports achievements, Dean was honoured to be part of the Bring Back Beckham campaign, which resulted in David Beckham being restored to the England squad in May 2007. He was also part of the noteworthy FA Cup upsets with Torquay United (2007) and Blyth Spartans (2008) and he famously predicted Stoke City would survive in the 2008/09 Premier League against all expectations.

Dean has a good record with many other sporting events including the Grand National, where he still remains unbeaten after challenges in 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 against a team of professional tipsters. In 2011 his horses came 1st and 2nd.

Dean has also predicted the last two Cheltenham Gold Cup Winners in 2010 and 2011.

Though Dean's prediction work fits with what many people might expect from a psychic, his support work adds an extra dimension: after Dean has tipped a winner, he often continues to focus on his selections for years afterwards, drawing luck and success towards them to help them achieve their goals. Prime examples are Escala (originally from Britain's Got Talent and now an international touring musical act) and Niki Evans (originally from X-Factor and now a star of the West End).

In addition to his prediction expertise, Dean is a respected paranormal investigator & has consulted on 2 'Bownessie' monster searches as featured on Sky news (2010) ITV's The Lakes and around the World.
