The Oklahoma HR State Council (OKHR) represents nearly 8,000 human resource professionals, recruiters, and trainers throughout the state of Oklahoma. The Council recently announced a competition for its first ever “Blog Squad” for the annual Oklahoma State Human Resources Conference and Exposition. HR professionals and other business bloggers and tweeters had the opportunity to enter the competition. The Council selected 4 bloggers to be recognized at this year’s conference and to represent their company. We are happy to announce that Cathleen Carlos, Human Resources Assistant for Community Care College, Clary Sage College and Oklahoma Technical College was selected as one of the four! The nominees will have access to the press room and the opportunity to interview and meet conference speakers, keynotes, and state HR leaders.
Cathleen holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Marketing from Florida Gulf Coast University. With a passion for Human Resources, she moved to Tulsa in March of 2010 to begin her career with the College. After being promoted to the HR department, she began the Personal Time HR Blog in November 2010 as a way to reach out to employees and address common HR questions.
