McKinney’s Painting With A Twist To Host Benefit For Leukemia and Lymphoma Society

April 13, 2011 - PRLog -- In April, McKinney’s Painting with a Twist will host Painting with a Purpose, a benefit for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training, which has trained nearly half a million runners, walkers, triathletes, cyclists and hikers, and has raised over $2 billion to fund lifesaving cancer research. In March they hosted their benefit for Arthritis Walk®, the Arthritis Foundation's nationwide team event that raises funds to fight arthritis. Their rallying cry, Let's Move Together, is a nationwide movement that encourages people to move daily for better health to prevent or treat arthritis. The event was well-attended by the community and Kimberly Cotton, owner of Painting with a Twist, was proud to be able to donate $750 to the cause.
