April 25, 2011 - PRLog -- RS POP Shop and Lion’esque Media are pleased to announce the beautiful hand-crafted jewelry of Mediterra Collection for their May 2011 POP UP.  Many pieces in this collection of bold baubles, curated by founder, Sema Tekinay, are artistically produced in Istanbul and feature luxurious stones and dramatic settings inspired by artifacts from the Roman, Ottoman and Byzantine Empires.  "Many years ago during a trip to the Turkish Riviera I discovered amazing jewelry in a quaint little shop,” says Sema Tekinay, founder, Mediterra Collection, “intrigued by what I saw, I was determined to make these treasures available to those who appreciate handcrafted jewels based on ancient antiquities and art.”
