Sometimes as we age, staying in our own becomes difficult.  Finding the right solution can be a confusing process.  There are many options available, so make sure that you understand the distinction between a retirement home and a nursing home.

Nursing home services are inclusive of care, meals, laundry and housekeeping. The types and levels of homemaking help, personal care, and health services offered by retirement homes vary significantly, as do their costs. At Applewood Retirement Residence, our Supportive Program  includes meals, housekeeping, laundry, assisted bathing, 24 Nursing supervision, physiotherapy and recreational programs.  Additional services can be purchased. Applewood also provides short term stays, post hospitalization recovery stays, or vacation stays at special low rates.
