Cadbury House helps Brownies in Royal Wedding Challenge

PRLog (Press Release) - Apr. 13, 2011 - DoubleTree by Hilton, Cadbury House played host to 24 Brownies who learned how to lay a table for a wedding party, how the bride and groom are announced into a room and who sits where during a ceremony and a reception.

Brownie leader Helen Harris said: “With all the hype surrounding the Royal Wedding we thought it would be good for the girls to learn what goes on behind the scenes at a wedding.

“Cadbury House was fantastic; the team showed the pack everything they wanted to know and made us all feel very welcome. It’s a great venue and the team are pros so we were certainly learning from the best.”

With around 120 weddings having taken place at the four-star venue last year, Cadbury House is known as one of the region’s top locations to tie the knot.

Boasting stunning views across the South West countryside and the Bristol Channel, the setting couldn’t be more idyllic and the contemporary styling within the hotel, health club and spa lends itself to a glamorous celebration.

Cadbury House’ Stuart Newson said: “We loved having the Brownies visit and it was great fun running through a wedding ceremony with them. We are very much part of the community here in North Somerset so it’s great to help out local groups like this.”
