Kent State University and the Greater Cleveland Sports Commission are hosting the NCAA National Collegiate Women’s Gymnastics Championships, April 15-17 at the Cleveland Wolstein Center.

April 13, 2011 - PRLog -- What: Kent State University and the Greater Cleveland Sports Commission are hosting the NCAA National Collegiate Women’s Gymnastics Championships, April 15-17 at the Cleveland Wolstein Center. The championship field will consist of 12 teams, 12 all-around competitors and four event specialists all vying to be crowned the nation’s best.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:

Thursday, April 14 – PRACTICE ONLY – Free and open to the public.
10:15 – 11:55 a.m. Practice Session 1 – (Arkansas, Georgia, Michigan, Oklahoma)
12:05 – 1:45 p.m. Practice Session 2 – (Alabama, Illinois, Kent State, UCLA)
1:50 – 2:50 p.m. Practice Session 3 – Event Specialists  
3 – 4:40 p.m. Practice Session 4 – (Florida, Nebraska, Oregon State, Utah)

Friday, April 15
9:45 a.m. Warm ups Begin – Semifinal 1
10:30 a.m. Doors Open to the Public
Noon Semifinal 1 – Arkansas, Georgia, Illinois, Michigan, Oklahoma, UCLA
3:45 p.m. Warm ups Begin – Semifinal 2
4:30 p.m. Doors Open to the Public
6 p.m. Semifinal 2 – Alabama, Florida, Kent State, Nebraska, Oregon State, Utah

Saturday, April 16
2:30 p.m. Doors Open to the Public
4 p.m. Super Six Team Finals
