HTC Incredible S Versus Samsung Galaxy S Not Incredibly it Is The Incredible That Has The Edge

April 13, 2011 - PRLog -- There is very little separating the two-

How fast technology is progressing can be known readily when one begins to match the internals of the two smartphones under our consideration.

Processor and Internals-

The more recently come out HTC Incredible S has the 768 MB RAM, 1GHz Scorpion CPU and Adreno 205 GPU. While the introduced towards the end of last year, the Samsung Galaxy S gets its power from 512MB RAM, a 1 GHz ARM Cortex-A8 processor and a PowerVR SGX540 GPU. Now, it is pretty obvious to even the novices among us that both the processors are damn good and pretty powerful. Still, it is the one that is under the hood of the Incredible S that has the clear edge on this score at least. You can very well put this down to time factor.

Operating System-

This logic unfortunately continues with the operating system that runs the two smartphones as well. The Samsung Galaxy S has the Android 2.1 Eclair and this OS is updgradable to the 2.2 version called Froyo. On the other hand, the HTC Incredible S has the Froyo running its affairs and this version is expected to upgrade itself to the 2.4 Gingerbread version of the operating system.

Camera Device-

HTC has stuck with its recent policy of packing every second smartphone that comes out of its den with a solid eight mega pixel snapper. And the HTC Incredible S Deals is no exception to this norm.  There is a secondary camera of 1.3 mega pixel as well at the front helping things out when it comes to video calling. The main camera device has auto focus, dual LED flash, geo tagging, image stabilization options in built into it.

The Galaxy S has only a five mega pixel snapper.

User Interaface-

Here both the smartphones have thought it fit to have their very own User Interfaces running the show rather than leave everything to the prowess of Android. The efficiency of both the UI in question are more or less similar. And, hence it is reasonable to say that this particular match is a tie.

Clearly, the Samsung Galaxy S deals is a winner in this contest.
