During the Global Business Travel Association Moab intends to reach CEOs and upper managers who make decisions to inform them that the world class destination, Moab Utah, is not only for recreation and leisure, Moab Means Business (too)!
The Moab Travel Council began marketing Moab for meetings and events in the new year of 2009. Venues serve the small meeting market of 60 - 250 attendees. In May 2011, Great Lakes Airlines adds a flight between Moab and Las Vegas. Moab's Canyonlands Airport (CNY) already receives daily commercial flights from Denver.
The GBTA event is tagged "Elevating the Business of Travel", The Utah Office of Tourism deploys the statement " Utah Life Elevated" and Moab further elevates the exhiibtion potential for GBTA attendees, offering a ticket give away for round trip fare between Moab and Denver.
Moab can be a super pre or post conference hop from the cities of Denver or Las Vegas to raft the Colorado River, mountain bike a slickroack trail, rope into the canyon of the movie, 127 Hours or perform a site inspection for a board retreat, executive teambuilding or a plenary meeting in Moab Utah.
