Rock Pink Partners with Florida Hospital’s Eden Spa

Breast Cancer Philanthropy Donates Funds for Chemo Patients

April 13, 2011 - PRLog -- ORLANDO, FL (April 13, 2011)—Rock Pink®, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization whose mission is to raise breast health awareness and support local breast cancer charities, has announced a partnership with Florida Hospital Cancer Institute’s Eden Spa, the Spa for Image Discovery. Rock Pink’s monetary donation will be used to provide therapeutic treatments, pampering services, vegan products, and post-surgical products for chemotherapy and surgical patients.

As the only spa in Central Florida focusing on services specifically for cancer patients, Eden Spa seeks to offer therapeutic treatments designed to renew the spirit and rejuvenate the body. Rock Pink, an organization that seeks to bring humanity back into the lives of those directly affected by breast cancer, chose to partner with Eden Spa after learning about their mission to assist patients with personal image recovery.

“There is such a strong synergy between the Rock Pink and Eden Spa missions,” said Mark Hollamon, Rock Pink President. “Together, we are bringing a little bit of humanity back to the families affected by breast cancer.”

Karen Morrison, Director over Eden Spa, shares that “The effects of cancer treatments can have a dramatic impact on a person’s self image.  Rock Pink’s support will help us continue to provide much needed services for those who are not only surviving but are striving to live well.”
