April 13, 2011 - PRLog -- Beginning Saturday, April 9, 2011, Los Angeles acting studio 3-2-1 Talent Showcase added an additional class to its Saturday schedule to maintain small student to teacher class ratios.  The struggle for maintaining small class sizes has been on the forefront of education and decades of research prove that (in this case) smaller is better. In 1985, Tenessee launched Project STAR (Student-Teacher Achievement Ratio). Since STAR’s inception, the program has successfully demonstrated that students from smaller classes consistently outperform students from classes with a larger teacher student ratio.

Given these statistics (and others), 3-2-1 Talent Showcase Acting Studios knew exactly what to do: reduce its Saturday class sizes. “With the trend of increasing class size in both the education system and Los Angeles acting studios, we felt that there was nothing more important maintaining a small class size,” says Ms. Mae Ross, owner of 3-2-1 Talent Showcase Acting Studios with 20+ years of teaching acting classes to children, teens, and young adults in the Los Angeles area. “We pride ourselves in the quality of our teachers and our teaching methodology. Maintaining our small class size allows us to focus on developing students individually and allows for individual instruction when necessary.”

3-2-1 Talent Showcase Acting Studios has demonstrated small classes to be a winning formula as evidenced by the program’s long list of successful alumni. Ms. Mae’s students have won rolls in The Hangover, national campaigns for Target, and roles in Justin Bieber music videos. “The success of our students is how we measure the success of 3-2-1 Talent Showcase Acting Studios,” says Ms. Mae. “We’re here for our students!”

The New Saturday acting class schedule is as follows:

9:oo-10:30 am : Ages 4-7
11:00 – 12:30 pm : Ages 8-11
1:00-3:00 pm: Ages 11-27
3:00 – 4:30 pm: 3-2-1 Lift Off! Talent Showcase & Acting Career Inclusive
