McKinney, Texas April 11, 2011 – Community Life Church (CLC) in McKinney, TX, is bringing in a helicopter from 9:30-11:00 A.M. on Saturday, April 23rd, to drop 30,000 candy-filled plastic eggs for a must-see children’s Easter egg hunt. This event is free and open to the public.
CLC’s Operation Egg Drop will be held at the church property located at 601 S. Graves Street just north of McKinney High School. The egg hunt will be divided by age group and will require those in attendance to register at the event for each child’s age group. Upon registration, all in attendance will have a chance to win an iPad, Wii or Xbox Kinect.
“At Community Life, Jesus and children are a big deal! What better way to celebrate both of them than through a community Easter event like this? It’s not too often you can collect a bunch of Easter eggs and watch as thousands are dropped from a helicopter – all at the same time! We invite everyone to stop by!” says CLC’s Pastor, Mike Banas.
