Southwest Florida Harley-Davidson Dealers Recognized as Top in Country

April 11, 2011 - PRLog -- Scott Fischer Enterprises is excited to announce their two local Harley-Davidson retail locations were recognized with elite Bar & Shield Awards from the Harley-Davidson Motor Company. The recognition solidifies the company’s effort to invest in their people and focus on customer experience as part of their rebranding.

Fort Myers Harley-Davidson was awarded Harley-Davidson Motor Company’s prestigious Platinum Bar & Shield Circle of Distinction Award for the 2010 calendar year. This award is given to the top six Harley-Davidson dealerships in the United States. Fort Myers Harley-Davidson earned the award based on their motorcycle and related product sales performance, an evaluation of customer service and satisfaction, and various operational measures.

“One of the primary reasons the Harley-Davidson brand has such tremendous customer loyalty is because of the efforts of dealers such as Scott Fischer,” said Mike Kennedy, Harley-Davidson’s Vice President of North American Sales. “We’re really proud to have the Fort Myers and Naples locations as part of the Harley-Davidson family.”

Naples Harley-Davidson was awarded Harley-Davidson Motor Company’s Gold Bar & Shield Circle of Excellence Award for the 2010 calendar year. Given to the top four Harley-Davidson dealerships in each region, there are only six regions in the country placing them in the top 24 nationwide. The Gold Bar & Shield Award was also earned based on their motorcycle and related product sales performance, customer service and satisfaction and other operation measures.

General Managers for both retail locations were thrilled with the news. “It’s really a testament to our entire staff and our strong belief to take care of our customers,” commented Gil Gibson, General Manager of Fort Myers Harley-Davidson.

Sean Delaney, General Manager for Naples Harley-Davidson seconded the sentiment. “It’s a great honor to win especially during this economy; we didn’t let it get into our DNA. The employees and the management team have worked hard.”
