"Facebook is great but it's hard to get detailed messages out in any length, and for the fan to have it as a reference. Now, they can get a PDF newsletter right in their internet mailbox, and if they want, print it out."
The fan club does have a nominal fee but Parent also offers a free newsletter about every four to six weeks, with a flavor of his happenings, tips and even a few recipes that keeps the 66 year old hard-bodied and still swooning-inducing to the ladies!
"I want to connect more to the fans, who many are like friends to me now. Offering a free newsletter is one way to do this. The club newsletter is like a newspaper actually, and will have contests, specials and more, along with more in depth articles," said Parent.
His manager, Dean Smith, offered that the newsletter will be a minimum of ten pages, and include business advice, career planning, tactics for overcoming risk and fear, understanding the mechanics of networking, learning to overcome obstacles and even some relationship advice including not only romantic relationships but also friends and family.
The club itself will include an official embroidered hat, magnet and certificate. There will be a kids section of the newsletter so that the entire family can enjoy the benefits of joining forces with an icon in sports history and role model and inspiration to many.
A great Easter or Passover gift for anyone, any age!
