Geico's Caveman Ad Named The Funniest Auto Insurance Commercial Of All Time

Auto Insurance Broker 4AutoInsuranceQuote.org Released Their List Of The Top Ten Funniest Car Insurance Commercials
By: James Shaffer
April 8, 2011 - PRLog -- Online auto insurance broker 4AutoInsuranceQuote.org released a list of their top ten funniest car insurance commercials of all time.  A website where customers can come to compare auto insurance quotes, 4AutoInsuranceQuote.org also contains an archive of reports and research on auto insurance. This list on the top car insurance commercials marks their 9th report in 2011 on the auto insurance industry.

Usual TV commercial giants Allstate and Geico topped their list, but the rest of the list features some smaller, unknown insurance companies. Coming in at number 4 on their list is a commercial from Southern California auto insurance company Survival. Number 8 on their list belongs to Lincoln Auto Insurance, a Chicago auto insurance company specializing in SR22 insurance.

The funniest car insurance commercial of all time, they say, is the caveman series from Geico.  The cavemen are trademarked characters of Geico that have aired in TV advertisements since 2004.  These commercials feature prehistoric-cavemen in a modern setting who have grown upset at the Geico slogan “so easy, a caveman could to it.” The caveman commercial has become so successful that over twenty different television ads have been created containing the cavemen.  Because of it's wild popularity, a television sitcom spin-off of these commercials was created by ABC in the fall of 2007.

“We all know that Geico and Allstate can make good commercials,” owner James Shaffer says, “but what surprised me were some of the creative ads from some lesser known and foreign auto insurance companies.  Some of them were simply hilarious.  Although we have Geico at the top and Allstate at number two, I feel like the other car insurance commercials on our list are just as funny.  Our list has commercials from not just the United States, but also from Thailand, Austria, and the UK.”

4AutoInsuranceQuote.org, located in New York City, has quickly become one of the most popular auto insurance web sites on the net. Operating since 2008, they have already provided their customers with over 20,000 auto insurance quotes. Owner James Shaffer says that he owes the website's instant success to their customer-first business model.  The site, he says, is user friendly, simple to use, and “gets the job done.”

4AutoInsuranceQuote.org is a standalone company operating in the United States. Its goal is to become the premier auto insurance quote service on the web.
