Daydream Announce Upgrade To FocusOPEN Digital Asset Manager 3.3.7

European market leader in digital asset management, Daydream, have announced the 3.3.7 release of their FocusOPEN Digital Asset Manager open source DAM software.

April 8, 2011 - PRLog -- Leading Digital Asset Management software vendor, Daydream have announced the new 3.3.7 release of their open source DAM platform, FocusOPEN Digital Asset Manager. The system supports all common media formats, also features a range of enterprise-class facilities including: configurable metadata, faceted and filtered search (with full text indexing), support for multiple brands and flexible permissions and user access roles.

The 3.3.7 release sees an extension of the lightbox features in FocusOPEN, allowing multiple users to collaborate and share lightboxes simultaneously with any number of recipients. The Asset Processing Server (APS) has also been enhanced to increase robustness and processing throughput. The latest updates to FocusOPEN include:

* Shared lightboxes extended to allow multiple users to collaborate on same lightbox
* Send lightboxes extended for arbitrary number of recipients
* Change the order of assets within a lightbox
* Contact sheet downloads for unregistered users fixed
* Permissions option added to control access to file system ingestion
* Faster and more robust Asset Processing Server (APS)

The open source AGPL edition of FocusOPEN Digital Asset Manager can be downloaded, Commercial licences, a range of Cloud DAM hosting plans and priority support packages are available to purchase also.
