Nevada Wing Cadets Earn Encampent Staff Positions

Nevada Cadets gain leadership positons at California Nevada Wing Cadet Encmapment.

 
PRLog - Apr. 8, 2011 - LAS VEGAS: Nevada Wing Civil Air Patrol Cadets participated in the California / Nevada Wing Joint Encampment Staff Selection Process at Fort Hunter in Liggett CA this weekend. Ten Cadets earned positions on the Encampment staff.  The encampment will be held 14-23 July at Camp Pendleton CA.

Cadets from the Nellis Composite Squadron, Las Vegas Composite Squadron and Henderson Composite Squadron all earned slots in leadership positions. These motivated cadets will hold places as Flight Leaders, First Sergeants, Flight Sergeants, Administrative  NCOs,  and logistics NCOs.

The cadets are: Nellis Composite Squadron; C/CMSgt Paige Dixon Flight Commander 118th Training Squadron, C/2nd Lt Jonathan DeBoy Flight Commander 120th Training Squadron, C/CMSgt 119th Training Squadron, C/CMSgt Tevin Stewart First Sergeant 119th Training Squadron, C/CSsgt Marjorie Franzen Flight Sergeant 199th Training Squadron, C/CMSgt NCO – Administrative Services Cadet Support Services Squadron, Las Vegas Composite Squadron; C/SrA Mikayla Myers Flight Sergeant 199th Training Squadron, C/TSgt D’Andre Carter Logistics NCO Cadet Support Services Squadron, C/CMSgt Jahmaal Crosby Logistics NCO Cadet Support Services Squadron, Henderson Composite Squadron; C/CMSgt Nathaniel Gilbreath NCO Administrative Services Cadet Support Services Squadron, C/SMSgt Jonathan Kozich NCO Administrative Services  Cadet Support Services Squadron.
To prepare cadets and adult members for the encampment a Basic Cadet and Airman Training School has been scheduled at Nellis AFB for 21-22 May 2011. This activity will be help prepare cadets for leadership positions, basic cadets to prepare for activities and adults as leaders of cadets.
