Brownstone Exploration & Discovery Park Announces April Job Fair

April 7, 2011 - PRLog -- PORTLAND, CT – Connecticut’s favorite outdoor adventure sports park announces a job fair April 16 from 10:00-4:00 pm at Brownstone’s headquarters, 161 Brownstone Avenue, Portland. Applications can be downloaded or completed on site. Qualified candidates may be hired on the spot.

In anticipation of another record year, Brownstone management plans to hire at least 100 seasonal employees:  lifeguards, certified challenge course facilitators (belaying), retail, maintenance, food service, lot attendants and bus drivers. Must be at least 16yrs old.

Get Certified for Brownstone Work – April 20 – 24th

Get certified in belaying or lifeguarding at the Brownstone Get-Certified-Get-to-Work Event. Full Red Cross Waterfront Lifeguarding training and Certified Challenge Course Facilitator (Belaying) training. Classes run April 20th – 24th. Applicants who complete training classes and are then hired at Brownstone will receive up to a $50 refund on full certification courses (If employed by Brownstone for at least 2 months).
