This coin is one ounce of .9999 pure silver graded MS70 featuring a stunningly detailed picture of a lone Grizzly Bear overlooking his domain. This beautiful but very fierce predator is shown standing in front of a snow covered slope with large snow-capped mountains behind him, this being a distinctively Canadian scene.
The Grizzly Bear will be the second coin in a 3 year, Canadian wildlife 6 coin series. The Royal Canadian Mint’s Ottawa facility will be introducing two annual issues through 2014.
