The Hollywood Edge to Debut New Sound EFX Collections at NAB

April 6, 2011 - PRLog -- HOLLYWOOD– At NAB 2011, The Hollywood Edge, the premier sound effects library for motion pictures, television and digital gaming, will be showcasing several new CD and DVD releases, including new collections of Foley effects from Soundelux, animal sounds from Discovery’s Animal Planet and sci-fi flavored mechanical effects from renowned sound designers Richard Devine and Jim Stout. The Hollywood Edge will be exhibiting at booth SL8513.

HOLLYWOOD FOLEY FX is a collection of more than 1600 Foley effects produced by Soundelux, Hollywood’s leading independent sound editorial company. The seven CD and two DVD collection includes such things as footsteps, debris, impacts, weapons, explosions and much more—created by some of the industry’s most acclaimed sound artists.  

ANIMAL PLANET SOUNDS, Volume 1, includes more than 750 sounds on four CDs and a DVD drawn from the best nature programs produced for television over the past 15 years. Exotic birds, horses, leopard, monkeys, llamas, rhinoceros, sheep, sea lions and penguins are just some of the species included in this unique collection. It also includes a wonderful assortment of natural ambiences.

MECHANICAL MORPHS is a futuristic collection of smashing metal and grinding gears, and a must-have resource for science fiction and fantasy productions. Suitable for film, television and multimedia projects, the 1372 sound effects collection on 10 CDs and two DVDs was recorded and processed at 24bit 96khz for true HD fidelity.

The Hollywood Edge will also be showing the latest versions of its most popular and comprehensive collections, including its Premiere Edition, Volumes 1-10, and The Complete Hollywood Edge Collection: Limited Edition.
