Oil and Gas Accountants Go Back to School

Once again, Neoedge will be partnering with Alan Mayo, Director of Maltway Limited UK to bring another premier course “Mastering International Oil and Gas Accounting” which will be held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates from 23 to 26 May 2011. Alan Mayo has almost thirty years of successful professional experience and has co-founded the client training business of PwC London.

Participants can expect to partake current accounting issues and the course will consider topics like implications of accounting and financial reporting of all the main transactions undertaken in the upstream business, including cost allocation and capitalisation, revenue allocation, and the accounting issues faced by joint venture operations and operators of concessions and PSCs. The course also considers both internal accounting issues and financial reporting under US GAAP and IFRS frameworks.
