The last few places at the Easter Festival are being offered on a ‘two for the price of one’ basis - £200 for two people for the first night, with subsequent nights priced at £170.
The Orpheus & Bacchus Easter Festival features an outstanding programme of intimate evening performances by some of Europe’s top classical musicians, including celebrated British violinist Alexander Sitkovetsky. Following each performance guests are invited to dine with the musicians in a unique house-party atmosphere.
The festival is hosted at Domaine Le Faure, an 18th century estate just 25 minutes from the historic wine-producing town of St Emilion and set in 20 acres of beautiful undulating wine-growing countryside, providing an ideal classical music house-party setting.
Guests stay in renovated en-suite accommodation within the three original buildings on the estate, each with its own pool and gardens. The Domaine also features a tennis court, croquet lawn and boules and three swimming pools.
During the day Orpheus & Bacchus offers an optional programme of day trip experiences including guided wine-tasting tours, visits to the Saturday market of Ste Foy and river trips on the Dordogne.
Prices include en-suite accommodation, evening concerts (which start at 6.30pm), dinner with world-class local wines, aperitifs and continental breakfast.
Prices exclude travel from the UK and local transfers.
Local airports Bergerac and Bordeaux are served by BA, Ryanair, Easyjet, Flybe and BMIBaby. Alternatively guests can travel by rail to Libourne, or drive, giving the added benefit of bringing back tax-free wines, often at half their cost in the UK.
