RedHot Midnight Kiss Charity Event Looking for America's Best Kissers

April 5, 2011 - PRLog -- Chicago, IL – RedHot Midnight Kiss chair Trish Hoffman is pleased to announce the addition of a kissing contest, called The RedHot Midnight Kiss-Off, to the 2011 charity event that will be held at Detention nightclub at 9 West Division Street in Chicago on June 11, 2011.

Beginning April 15th, event organizers will begin accepting 60-second video submissions from “kissing couples” across America on its website at www.redhotmidnightkiss.com.  The nationwide search, which will culminate with a LIVE Kiss-Off finale the night of the event, is aimed at finding America’s best kissing couple.

“Whenever you develop a charity event, you have to make sure that it is constantly evolving to keep your supporters coming back year-after-year,” said Trish Hoffman, who created the RedHot Midnight Kiss in 2007.  “The kissing competition is a natural for our event.  We feel the RedHot Midnight Kiss-Off will expose our charity, the Primo Center for Women and Children, to a brand new audience that will learn about the plight of America’s homeless families.”

Contestants are asked to create a video of them kissing that will be judged by a celebrity panel of judges.  The videos will be evaluated on the style and creativity of the kisses.  The RedHot Midnight Kiss judging panel will reduce the field of entries to three final couples, which will compete on June 11th for the title of America’s RedHot Midnight Kiss Couple.  The finale will be part of the RedHot Midnight Kiss television show that will air in Chicago.

The Primo Center focuses on homeless women and children in the Chicago area and places them for 120 days in a small residential home with other mothers and children experiencing similar difficulties. For most women, this is both a difficult and volatile stage in their lives, and center staff, including a full-time case manager, helps them to address the immediate issues surrounding their basic physical and psychological needs. The Primo Center focuses on the basics of housing, job and school placement, plus mental and physical health.
