The MD of Triangle Software, which earlier this year launched the new hosted business software package Cocentric aimed at start-up and growing enterprises, is also offering free software training for business consultants involved in the Start-Up project.
“As soon as I saw reports of the new initiative I wanted to get involved,” said Mr Thomas-Peter, speaking from his office at Lower Withington near Macclesfield. “The Coalition Government is convinced an enterprise-led recovery is crucial and I couldn’t agree more.
“That is why I immediately sent an email to our MP, Mr David Rutley, who actually launched our new Cocentric software package in January this year. My email outlines my offer and I am confident Mr Rutley will pass it on to those directly involved in Start-Up Britain as he has seen what Cocentric can do for himself.
“I have told him that Cocentric is perfect for start-up businesses who want their systems and processes in order from day one. It positions them to handle the growth of their operations without a lot of the pains associated with restructuring at crucial moments in their evolution.
“Triangle Software will be prepared to offer four months use of Cocentric free to any start-up company coming to us through Start-Up Britain. We would also provide free training for business consultants involved in the project who want to help start-ups to get the most from their business software.”
Mr Thomas-Peter said the Cocentric package was designed to appeal to small businesses so prices started at just £40 per month for single users. But he had not yet calculated the cost implications of his involvement with Start-Up Britain.
“We need to discuss the detail with Start-Up Britain but I am confident that we can help those would-be entrepreneurs set up their enterprises with Cocentric. I am also confidant that many of those who trial the software will be so impressed they will become our customers of the future.”
Mr Thomas-Peter said the Cocentric software package had already been taken up by a variety of businesses across the UK and was also being trialled overseas.
