University of London Open Scholarships in Business Degrees

April 5, 2011 - PRLog -- The London Academy of Management & Business – LAMB - in Notting Hill Gate, is the first private London business school to be approved as a supporting teaching institution of the University of London’s International Programmes, one of the world’s most respected universities, founded in 1858, and the UK’s third oldest university after Oxford & Cambridge. The University comprises 29 self-governing and specialist Institutes, which include; UCL, LSE, Kings, Queen Mary, Goldsmiths and Royal Holloway. Students who are accepted onto a degree programme at LAMB become a student of the University of London, eligible to use all of the University’s services, libraries, clubs and societies.

LAMB’s scholarships are offered on a range of University of London Bachelor programmes in Economics, Finance, Accounting and Management. All the degree programmes are taught at LAMB with the academic syllabus & course material designed & supplied by the London School of Economics or Royal Holloway’s School of Management. On successful completion a student’s degree is awarded by the University of London. Some of the degrees also act as a ‘fast-track’ for professional qualifications in accountancy, finance and law.

John Florey, Director said ‘’LAMB follows an ‘access-for-all’ admissions policy and we will give considerable attention to applicants from the London Boroughs for our Bachelor programmes. The minimum criteria for a scholarship application are a pass at ‘A’ levels in at least 2 subjects, a good well-rounded CV and completion of our scholarship examination and interview process. As a private institution we offer a complementary route to the UCAS application process, since applying to us does not count as one of your UCAS choices. ‘’

‘’We are offering a number of Full and Half Scholarship to UK students. The Full Scholarships comprise an award of all the tuition fees for three consecutive progressive years, totalling up to £25,500 and the Half Scholarships comprise an award of half the tuition fees, for three consecutive progressive years, totalling an award of up to £12,750. ‘’ Says Mr Florey. The full tuition fees for a Bachelor degree at LAMB range from £7,950 to £8,500 per annum.

The Academy comprises a Business School, a variety of specialist cnters and an event space. The Business School is a new supporting teaching institution for the University of London international programmes, which includes short Management Courses through to Bachelor and Masters programmes. There are also a number of specialist centers for; China, Russia, Leadership and in Tourism as well as bespoke Executive Development programmes and tools. The event space is available for you to hire for your seminars, conferences and symposium.
