Princeton Montessori School Students Make Aesop's Fables Come Alive!

PRLog (Press Release) - Apr. 7, 2011 - There were no Fools in attendance for the April 1st musical performed by Junior 2 students in Princeton Montessori School’s new Crescendo auditorium.  Music teacher Derry Light Wills directed Margaret Wardlaw Gilbert’s adaptation of Aesop’s Fables.  Ed Urwin, of the Princeton Ballet School, worked with the students on their choreography, and Sue Ellen Miller provided piano accompaniment.  The students sang and danced their way through eleven of Aesop’s classic fables, including The Tortoise and the Hare, The Belling of the Cat and The Crow and the Pitcher.  In the week prior to the musical, the 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students, as well as their teachers, worked tirelessly to prepare for the Friday night performance.  The moral of this story?  Hard work and practice bring success!
